Skylar Janisse Re-signs for 3rd Season

Skylar Janisse, a former New York Yankees draft pick (35th round) back in 2011, has re-signed with the Majors for the 2025 season. This will be his 3^rd season wearing the Majors pinstripes.

In 2023, Skylar was solid out of the bullpen, posting  2 wins, 0 losses, and a 1.86 ERA. In the 14 regular-season games, Janisse logged 19.1 innings, had 23 strikeouts, and only issued 3 bases on balls. He followed that up with 5.2 innings of work in 5 games in the playoffs, allowing 0 runs.

Janisse is not only a valued bullpen arm but he is also a leader in the clubhouse.
